Very reasonable prices, decent portions. You can eat in, but it's very basic and having the people waiting for their takeout staring at you while you eat is pretty off putting. Some evenings you have to wait 45 minutes for a pick-up order, so call way before you intend to show up. Their sauces tend to be heavier/greasier than most Chinese places, but they're pretty tasty. You can see the whole kitchen from the front counter so kids love it.

I was visiting the area with my family and we had the food delivered to our hotel.my husband had the Szechuan chicken and said it was spicy(its supposed to be) and he was amazed how good it was.The eggrolls were crispy and delicious and the soup awesome too.we also had the fried rice and. Chicken with vegetables. None of us were unhappy with anypart of the meal. I would recommend!

People are nice and the food is good. I've been to Chinese places like this and I thought they were all the same until I tried this place. The girl at the counter converted me from honey chicken to garlic honey chicken. Incredible.

The food was good however the chicken with garlic sauce could have been spicer. I gave it 3 stars because of the rice portions. Usually you get pt size fried rice but this place gave us a half pt size of white rice...a lil weird but we enjoyed it.

I love Chinese food and was excited to try this place. While we waited for our order we saw signs on the walls "voted best..." For several years in a row. I was however, very disappointed once we got our food. It was hot yet just didn't taste fresh. I'd bet the breaded chicken was frozen, premade bagged stuff they just put different sauces on. I say that because not only did they all look exactly the same except the sauce, they chicken inside was dry and hard which is a sign of frozen chicken being cooked fast. Now I will admit the orange chicken sauce wasn't bad. Unfortunately our fortune cookies were stale too. We tried this place once more in case it was a fluke but it wasn't. If this place was voted best it really makes me sad that there must be no good Chinese around here. Guess we will stick to panda express.

My family and I have been eating here for years. We never had a bad meal. If you don't like spicy make sure and ask or look on the menu for the little pepper. Sometimes you just have to keep trying different dishes to find out what you like but everything is delicious and well made and fresh. The lunch portions are huge for the money. The service has always been friendly and quick. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good Chinese takeout

Finally- A good chinese restaurant in the area. I had been looking for years and no one could recomend a decent place to us. This place is good! we are definitely fans of this food. The portions are good size and the service is fast. It's a take our place mostly, but you can eat inside at a small table. No ambiance for dining within though. The fried rice was excellent, the egg rolls were good, the sesame chicken was great ( Not fatty at all), the peppered beef was great and didn't ahve any funky smell, look, or taste to it. The price was very reasonable for the portions. Ordered 2 combo plates and fed a family of 4 twice. I'll will be back very soon!!!

No. 1 Chinese has been at it's preset location for a long time, and for good reason. They have the best tasting Chinese take-out on the barrier island. This is a clean and efficient business. Everything is made to order, nothing just sits under a heat lamp for hours at a time. They do have seating inside, but it's more for waiting for your order to cook than to offer a place to sit and eat. That being said, you can dine-in if you want. I haven't had a bad meal yet! As a bonus, all of their meals are packed in plastic containers, not cardboard or paper. This means when you are finished with your meal, you have a container that you can reuse for other things around the house.

By far the best Chinese Take Out on the Beach. They may not deliver but it is worth the drive. They are good about special orders and are quick. They even send your food home in reusable containers. Thumbs up!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
